Privacy & Data Security Protocols
1. Who we are
Neurogait Wellness (the “App”) is operated by [Company legal name] (“Neurogait”,
“we”, “us”). If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us at
support@neurogait.ai.
2. What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when
you use the App, including when you create an account, complete movement check‑ins,
and view your Results Report.
3. Information we collect
• Account information: first/last name and email address (and optional profile details
you choose to add).
• Recordings you choose to capture: short videos for hand and walking check‑ins. (The
App may also collect timestamps and basic capture metadata.)
• Derived results: scores (0–100) for each check‑in component, the Results Report,
trends, and the calculated Mobility Age Score.
• Device and usage information: app version, device model, operating system,
language/region settings, crash logs, and performance diagnostics.
• Support communications: messages you send to support and any information you
include.
• Optional analytics (if enabled): aggregated usage events to understand what features
are used and to improve stability.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information beyond what may be
inferred from movement recordings and derived metrics. You can choose not to record or
to delete recordings (see Section 8).
4. How we use information
• Provide app functionality (generate scores, Results Reports, and Mobility Age Score).
• Maintain and improve the App (debugging, quality assurance, feature development).
• Personalize your experience (e.g., showing trends over time).
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
• Help keep the App safe and secure, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms.
• Comply with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
• Service providers: vendors who help us operate the App (hosting, analytics, customer
support) under confidentiality and security obligations.
• With your direction: when you choose to export/share your Results Report or otherwise
share information.
• Legal and safety: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with
appropriate safeguards).
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Processing of recordings and results
The App uses your recordings to generate movement scores and your Results Report.
Depending on your configuration, processing may occur on-device, in the cloud, or a
combination of both. If cloud processing is used, we transmit data using encryption in
transit and apply access controls. If your implementation differs (e.g., on-device only),
update this section accordingly.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the App and for
legitimate business purposes such as security, compliance, and dispute resolution.
• Account information: retained while your account is active.
• Recordings: retained [RETENTION PERIOD] unless you delete them earlier (where
deletion is supported).
• Derived scores/reports: retained to show your trends unless you delete your account.
• Backups: may persist for a limited period (typically up to [30–90 days]) before being
overwritten.
We may retain de-identified or aggregated information longer, where permitted by law.
8. Your choices and rights
• Access, correct, or update your profile information in the App.
• Delete recordings (if supported) and request account deletion.
• Export your Results Report.
• Manage device permissions (camera/microphone) via your phone settings.
• Opt out of optional analytics (if offered).
If you are in the EEA/UK (or similar jurisdictions), you may have additional rights such as
access, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability. To exercise rights, contact
support@neurogait.ai.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your
information. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we continuously work to
protect your data.
10. Children’s privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your
jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we
can take appropriate steps.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated”
date and, where required, provide additional notice in the App.
